Keep every screen consistent with one central design system and flexible tables

Also listed as: Centralized design system & dynamic tables

What is it?

Xelence will offer a central design system: one shared library of styles and building blocks used by every form. It will also add dynamic tables, which are more flexible tables for showing and working with lists of records.

Why does it matter?

When styles are set form by form, screens drift apart over time, and a change to branding or layout means touching many forms.

More consistent screens for staff and constituents, and quicker changes to look and feel across the whole solution.

Getting it into your solution

  • Needs an upgrade to the Xelence release
  • Needs configuration

What this means for your upgrade

Start thinking about

  • Do your forms follow a shared style guide today, or does each team style its own?
  • Which tables or lists do staff find hardest to work with?
  • Who in your organization would own the look and feel of your Xelence screens?
