Generate large reports in the background as a batch
Also listed as: Secure batch report generation
What is it?
Xelence can generate reports as a batch job, meaning in the background rather than while a person waits. Finished reports, for example PDFs, are stored for authorized staff to open later.
Why does it matter?
Big reports no longer tie up a staff member's screen, and the output is kept in one controlled place.
Start thinking about
- Which decisions do your leaders make today without timely, reliable data?
- How confident are you in the quality and agreed definitions of the data your reports use?
- Who should be allowed to build and share reports, and who may see sensitive figures?
- Which recurring reports are still assembled by hand outside Xelence?
- Do your reports and dashboards need to work with screen readers and other assistive tools?
- Which reports would you clean up or retire before your next upgrade?
