Trace and monitor API calls end to end

Also listed as: Comprehensive API tracing & monitoring

What is it?

Xelence will add tracing and monitoring for API calls. Tracing means recording each step a request passes through, so teams can see what happened, how long it took and where it failed.

Why does it matter?

When an integration fails or slows down, it can be hard to tell which system or step caused it, so problems take longer to diagnose.

Faster diagnosis of integration problems and more confidence in connected services.

Getting it into your solution

  • Needs an upgrade to the Xelence release
  • Needs configuration

What this means for your upgrade

Start thinking about

  • Which integrations cause the most support calls today?
  • Which monitoring tools does your IT team already use?
  • How long should API trace records be kept under your retention policy?
