Connect partner systems with configurable webhooks
Also listed as: Multi-tenant webhooks
What is it?
Xelence will support webhooks, automatic messages between systems when something happens, in both directions. It can send notifications to partner systems, including in multi-tenant setups where one installation serves several separate organizations or programs. It can also receive webhooks from external applications and run the business rule configured for each one. New webhook connections are set up through configuration, without changing application code.
Why does it matter?
Connecting to partner systems that notify you of events usually means custom integration code for each one, and in multi-tenant setups each tenant's messages must be kept apart by hand.
Faster, cheaper partner integrations in both directions, with each tenant's messages kept separate.
Getting it into your solution
- Needs an upgrade to the Xelence release
- Needs configuration
Start thinking about
- Which partner systems need to know about changes in Xelence as they happen?
- Which external systems would you want to send events into Xelence, and what should happen when they do?
- Who should approve and maintain webhook configurations?
