How to read the roadmap
The roadmap shows each Xelence capability area across four horizons of value. Every item opens a detail card that says what it is, why it matters and what to plan for.
The four horizons
Available today
Value you already have
Capabilities already in customer production, built up over earlier releases up to 2025 (Xelence 8.0).
Now
Value arriving now
In progress in 2026 (Xelence 10.0).
Next
Value coming next
Planned for 2027 (Xelence 11.0). Directional, and may evolve.
On the horizon
Where we're headed
2028 (Xelence 12.0) and beyond. Directional, and some areas are under discovery.
What each status means
- Available
- In client production today.
- Delivered
- Delivered in a recent Xelence release.
- In progress
- Being built now.
- Planned
- Planned. Directional, and may change.
- Under discovery
- Being explored. The direction isn't set yet.
From a horizon to your solution
Each horizon shows when Xelence delivers a capability: Available today, Now (2026, Xelence 10.0), Next (2027, Xelence 11.0) and On the horizon (2028, Xelence 12.0, and beyond).
A capability reaches your solution when your solution moves to the Xelence release that includes it. Your upgrade is scheduled with you.
Some capabilities also need configuration, implementation work or a change to how your team works. Each capability's card says which.
A capability reaches your solution automatically only if its card says so.
Building AI and running it
The Xelence AI Engine is where AI use cases are designed and built: agents, workflows and skills, with policy and guardrails.
Generative AI Services is the run-time service your applications call to use those AI use cases, through a secure AI gateway with cost and token monitoring.
In short: you design AI use cases in the AI Engine, and your applications, staff and constituents use them through Generative AI Services.
How current it is
